ABSTRACT:
This 5 page report discusses the implementation of a Windows NT server in a medium-sized hospital. The implementation of a Windows NT network at the hospital will enable users to run cross-hospital and cross-service line analysis, while also being able to extract, transform and map data from multiple sites. The options available to a medium-sized hospital using such a system are far and beyond the hospital that relies upon the antiquated system of charts, notes, and suppositions on the part of the medical personnel.
